Amazing strength in-depth makes Henderson a top trainer must |

At most of the recent Cheltenham festivals Paul Nicholls has gone into the meeting as the favourite to emerge as the top trainer at the meeting. This has mainly been thanks to his battalion of top class chasers, however with those chasers getting on in years now and maybe being past their best it could be that Nicholls is about to see the baton handed over to Nicky Henderson. Henderson has a strength in-depth to his squad that is almost frightening, he is set to be doubly represented in most races and may have as many as three runners in some races. Almost everyone looking to bet on Cheltenham 2011 will end up backing a Henderson horse. The novice hurdles events are a particular strength where he will saddle fancied runners in each of the three events. He also has two runners in the top five of the betting in the Champion Hurdle. If you then add in the novice chases where he will saddle Finians Rainbow, the likely favourite for the Arkle, his hand gets even stronger. Henderson's charges will dominate the Cheltenham racing betting, and with very good reason. With 37 winners having come from Seven Burrows in previous years, Henderson is no stranger to Festival success and he is strongly fancied to increase that tally this March. |
