With the world’s biggest
racing weekend arriving this week, it’s time to dial in your knowledge of
the National’s History. This infographic on the now infamous 1990 Grand
National gives you a run down on a record breaking event. The weekend went
down in history for two very big reasons, one of which being the record
breaking speed set by now journalist Marcus Armytage. British born, he set
the world record for the National by completing the race in just 8 minutes
and 47.80 seconds, the only sub nine minute win in the races history. Not
only that, but he also remains the last amateur jockey to win the race. This
infographic was put together by
Grand National Betting
from Paddy Power.
Let’s hope it gives you the knowledge and the foresight to win big this year
in the 2018 run!
Best of luck! Let us
know how you got on, and if this helped you outsmart your friends! |
